Web site testing is a multi phase
process. Once web site construction is complete and prior to Web
Publishing, SourceOneWeb thoroughly tests the entire site.
We insure
the site loads fast using various connection speeds and performs all functions properly. We also
perform Web Compatibility tests to verify the web site functions
properly on various browser versions and resolutions. SourceOneWeb uses
the same test criteria for each separate browser tested. We
test all forms, reports, hyperlinks, hit counters, etc.
Acceptance
(Alpha) Testing
The next testing phase is the Acceptance Test (Alpha). This test allows the
customer and users that the customer selects to test the site.
This is a hands-on test to insure they are comfortable with the
look, content and navigational structure of the site.
Beta Testing
The second type of test is the Beta Test (Beta). Once the web site is
published, SourceOneWeb then repeats the same testing criteria used prior
to publishing. This insures everything is functioning properly
before Web Site Publication.
SourceOneWeb utilizes test tools with reporting technology.
This allows us to view the
status of each web file. We also provide our customers the ability to review the site
and provide feedback through all design, development and testing phases.
