Once the analysis phase is complete, the next step is to
develop
the site.
We take all of the information compiled during
the
analysis phase and begin building the site.
Global
and local navigation
bars are created. A
Navigation Bar is a set of hyperlinks used for navigating the Web
site. This allows the navigation bars to be viewable and consistent on every page
(global) and section (local). Linking the pages to their
appropriate sections creates the navigational structure.
We
then apply the text acquired during the
analysis phase to each page. After the text has been applied to each page, we
then prepare graphics. Graphics may include logos, pictures,
buttons, icons, etc. Once complete, the graphics are applied to each
page or section.
Next
any interactive elements are designed. Interactive elements may include forms,
registration forms, reports, sound clips, movie clips, search
component, databases, or flash animations. Once created, the interactive elements are
then applied to the appropriate page(s).
We then write any HTML code and additional
programming. We use tools such as JAVA, ASP along with web
database connectivity; we develop data-driven application(s).
This type of application is useful in many ways. Refer to the Database
Services page for more detailed information on database-driven
sites.
