We begin by working with the
client to define what it is they need to accomplish with a web
presence. Whether it's to communicate information to customers via
text or a database or provide e-commerce
capabilities. SourceOneWeb has designed a Web
Analysis Worksheet to obtain information from the customer to begin
the process.
During the analysis phase,
we take the goals and
objectives and begin laying out the major
sections and navigational structure of the web site. We determine
what content and
graphics SourceOneWeb
will obtain or create.
Once we have the layout and
navigation structure complete, we then begin storyboarding each
page. This is a simple process of determining where the global
navigation bar(s), local navigation bar(s), text, graphics, links, ad
banners, etc. will be placed on each page.
The next step is to determine the graphical presentation
for the web site. This includes
selecting page, border and element
colors, button types, pictures, etc.
We then design any interactive elements for the site,
such as; forms, reports, databases, E-commerce elements, etc.
